Zoogma
ZOOGMA combines the sonic diversity and precision of a DJ with the excitement and immediacy of a four-piece rock group. Known for their energetic performances and retina pleasing light show, the band consistently dishes out heavyweight beat-driven dance parties across the nation. Sets are kinetic, combining live improvisation with carefully crafted beats and melodic textures.
With the release of their debut album, Recreational Vehicles, along with a relentless tour schedule, the five members have already added their unique voice to the live electronic-rock scene. Evolving from Oxford, MS, ZOOGMA’s sound can be described as an eclectic fusion of Electronica, Rock, Jazz, World, and Hip-Hop. This blend of genres results in a musical experience that appeals to a range of audiences, with a sound that is refreshingly original yet steeped in the dance music tradition.

Brooklyn based producer D.V.S* (aka Derek VanScoten) creates that elevated feeling in the listener's chest with his guitar-soaked experimental dance beats.
He currently has music released on Soulection, 1320 Records, Electronic Musician Magazine, and his own label, Octave Memory Tapes.
Over the past few years, D.V.S* has spent considerable time on the road with electronic acts Random Rab, Bluetech, Tipper, FreQnasty, Big Gigantic, Lotus, MartyParty, emancipator, Ana Sia, Beats Antique, and EOTO.
No stranger to the live band scene, he has also performed as a respected multi-instrumentalist with acts as diverse as DJ Logic, Devotchka, The Motet, and the Boulder Philharmonic.
While his current beatsmithing pushes the boundaries of futuristic rhythms and timbres, D.V.S* hasn't always experienced music via a laptop. Influences include 19th century romantic music, motown, swing, bossa nova, afrobeat, traditional folk music from multiple cultures, hip hop, and of course, rock n' roll.

Turning up on the EDM scene in May of 2009, Higher Nebulae has quickly become a staple on the underground, club, and festival circuits...having moved from the steamy warehouses of Brooklyn to NYC's notorious Club Love, a silent disco set at Camp Bisco IX, and most recently warming things up for a New Year's Eve capacity crowd @ Best Buy Theater in Times Square, NYC.
