Taking Back Sunday
Taking Back Sunday
2012 has been a whirlwind for Taking Back Sunday. While they are currently one of the main headliners of the annual Vans Warped Tour and playing to thousands of people across North America this summer, NA is the fifth continent they have visited this year alone. They have also toured in South America, Europe, Australia and Asia. And it’s only July.
Taking Back Sunday is also about to launch another national US tour to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their first release, TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS, a monumental album released in 2002 which has since gone platinum and laid the groundwork for a sound and performance style that still fills up clubs and concert halls to this day.
With one platinum and two gold albums in their 5 album repertoire, Taking Back Sunday has been fortunate enough to tour the world with some of the biggest names in rock music including Linkin Park, Blink-182, Faith No More and Green Day to name a few. They have also performed on the main stage of some of the world’s biggest festivals including Reading and Leeds (UK), Soundwave (Australia), Summer Sonic (Japan), Bamboozle (US) and 2007’s global Live Earth where they shared the Giants Stadium, New Jersey stage with Bon Jovi and The Police.
They have had multiple top 5 Billboard Soundscan debuts, Top 10 alternative radio hits, tons of video airplay along with an MTV Woodie Award, received rave reviews in major publications from Rolling Stone to Spin to People and have been lucky enough to perform on every major nightly talk show including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
Somehow the band still finds time to put out smaller ep releases and devote some of their time to raising money for various Cancer Charities. Taking Back Sunday is; Adam Lazzara (lead vocals) John Nolan (guitar, vocals) Eddie Reyes (rhythm guitar) Shaun Cooper (bass guitar) and Mark O'Connell (drums.)
The Maine
The Maine
The Maine is an American rock band from Tempe, Arizona. In their eight years together, The Maine has released four full-length albums, including their major label debut "Black & White" in 2010. The band expanded their musical realm into production which resulted in their fourth EP, the self-recorded and produced "Imaginary Numbers" (2013). Over the years, they have toured across the globe as well as extensively on home soil in the US; both as headliners and in support roles. The Maine has shared the stage with the likes of Taking Back Sunday, Anberlin, A Rocket To The Moon, Augustana, and many more. The band has made numerous festival appearances including the Vans Warped Tour, Bamboozle, and South by Southwest. The Maine is recognized within the industry for the close relationships they build and maintain with their fans -- many of whom are now college age and have grown up alongside the band. The Maine is John O'Callaghan, Pat Kirch, Kennedy Brock, Garrett Nickelsen, and Jared Monaco.
Modern Chemistry
Modern Chemistry formed in and around Rutgers University in June of 2012. After putting out a few songs, the foursome recorded a full EP, We'll Grow Out Of This, and started playing shows around their hometowns in NJ. Their textured heavier alt-rock sound and frenetic live shows led to opening slots with bigger acts like Waaves, Kris Roe and Taking Back Sunday. Their new EP, Self Help Guide for Being Alone, was released on Aug 9 and they look forward to touring relentlessly in 2015.
