The enigmatic masked producer known as SBTRKT appeared on the scene in 2009 with two independently released 12-inches, and praise for his soulful blending of atmospheric house, syncopated dubstep and warped garage spread quickly throughout the international electronic community. Soon revealed to be the moniker of UK broken beat mainstay Aaron Jerome, SBTRKT was later commissioned for remixes by the likes of Basement Jaxx and drafted for collaborations with Sinden, Sampha and Jessie Ware to name a few. On June 27, 2011, Young Turks is slated to release his eponymous debut full-length.
Sepalcure

Sepalcure's combination of love for bass and 90s house acapellas is the culmination of a cathartic two week collaboration between Machinedrum and Praveen. Their mix of tribal dub, house and two step beats works equally well for both late nights in the club and rainy, introspective nights at home. Detroit techno chords cut through wooden beats, neon synths and dubbed out atmospherics.
Jim-E Stack

San Francisco born, New Orleans living, DJ/producer Jim-E Stack is young and doing his thing. Drawing influence anywhere from UK funky to Mexico's 3ball, and house to pop, he strives to create his own eclectic brand of club music. Born James Stack, Jim-E Stack grew up in San Francisco, eating burritos, drinking 40s, and playing drums in a string of terrible punk bands. A new found interest in club music and the World Wide Web would bring him into a new class of young producers as infatuated by musical internet exploration, as they are with pushing the sounds of today's club music
