From “Small Town” to the big city, John Mellencamp’s Live and in Person Tour is on the Upper West Side this week for four shows at the Beacon Theatre. And on Wednesday, the third of four nights, the rock legend played from across his catalog, including material from his upcoming 25th studio album, Orpheus Descending, out next week.
