Covey is a folk rock project fronted by vocalist and guitarist Tom Freeman. With raspy, delicate vocals and ambient textures, Tom formed Covey in February 2013. A songwriter for 9 years, Freeman's musical influences range from Nick Drake, to Fleet Foxes, and Neutral Milk Hotel. Covey's music has been featured on the BIRN radio network, Under the Gun Review, and has won BostInno's "Song of the Week," as well as the "New England Band of the Month" on the Deli Magazine. Covey has opened for artists the likes of Vagabon, The Last Bison, High As A Kite, Gabriel Kahane, and Hozier.
